That is me, years ago, in a borrowed classroom with a whiteboard full of somebody’s real life.

Look at the wall behind me. All of it in marker. What helps this person do their best work, what gets in the way, named out loud in a room full of people who had never said any of it before. The man in the ball cap is mid-sentence, working something out about himself while I listen. I have a name tag on. I was a little nervous. I was also exactly where I belonged.

I have been doing this work for more than three decades now.

I have stood in hundreds of those rooms. I have watched thousands of leaders learn to bring out the best in their people, not with a framework they memorized, but with practices they built into their bones. Somewhere along the way I stopped calling it soft. There is nothing soft about the work that decides whether a team holds together or comes apart.

And here is what took me most of those thirty years to do.

I built that work into a program. Tested it, broke it, rebuilt it across dozens of cohorts, until it reliably did what it promises. It is called the Leading People Program™, and for a long time I delivered every bit of it myself. You can learn all about it here.​

Now, finally, I am opening it up.

I am licensing the program to other practitioners. Coaches, consultants, facilitators, and HR/people leaders who want to deliver this work under their own names, to the leaders they serve. They bring the craft. They skip the years I spent building from scratch, because it is already built.
